The Mati / the evil eye : this object tells us a story of culture, superstition and traditions. It is displayed across many homes in many parts of the world, particularly in the beautiful country of Greece. The Mati adorns walls, artworks, clothes and jewellery. It is said to ward off jealously and acts as a sign of protection.

In my travels across Hellas, the land of antiquity and blue seas, I often think of those tiny eyes staring back at me, watching me, protecting me and now with a permanent place on my wall.
